Completed in 2023, the fit-out of the iconic Pacha Group’s ‘Lio’ Cabaret Restaurant at the historic former Café de Paris venue set in the heart of London’s Piccadilly.
Working within the Grade II listed building proved challenging to ensure all original features were maintained.
The internal fit-out centres around the main double height space and surrounding mezzanine complete with a hydraulic lifting performance stage. The project included the incorporation of a kitchen, back of house/performance staff spaces and required co-ordination with several Spanish suppliers and contractors.
LIO opened on the 17th March 2023, bringing a bit of Ibiza glamour to central London with double-sided staircases, mirrored ceilings with a restaurant that seats 200 diners. After the dinner show, the restaurant transforms into a 715-capacity late-night club, with a moveable DJ booth that emerges from behind the stage – open into the early hours.
